THINGS TO KNOW • •

- Both Benedictine and CUW opened NACC play with wins Wednesday. The Falcons used a hat trick from Kayla Schlosser to defeat Marian, 3-2. Benedictine received two second-half scores in a 2-0 win against Concordia Chicago. - Schlosser’s hat trick was the first for the Falcons since the 2014 season. It also marked the third multi-goal match for Schlosser as a Falcon, as she now has 18 career goals.

Schlosser recorded her first career collegiate hat trick in the Falcons 3-2 win over Marian Wednesday. One of the Falcons top offensive threats, Schlosser now has four goals in the Falcons past three matches.

- CUW is 11-1-2 against Benedictine in matchups dating back to the 2001 season. The Falcons and Eagles played to a 2-2 tie last season, with CUW scoring the tying goal with 4:10 remaining in regulation. - The Eagles had a tough non-conference stretch to begin the season, dropping their first seven matches. Six of those came by just one goal, with five of the one-goal losses coming on the road.
