The question was how might a place to work be. The answer was found working like a gardener, sweeping the things a little. It costs nothing to dream. Something like forgetting what scares you but still being afraid.

The question was how might a Museum of the XXI Century be. The answer was found from looking to tradition with a contemporary gaze. There is no point in roots if we couldn´t take them with us. Something like being the same as always. Or at least, like lately.

The question was who (from a closed group of offices) would be capable of imagining the most beautiful tower in the world. The answer was not ours, although for me, it was. Something like being indecisive, but not being so sure now.

The question was how to solve, across the levels, the limits of a ctiy. The answer was found in the respect and coexistence of architecture and nature, trying to inscribe living inside the scenery. Something like pretending to be Fernando Pessoa like Pessoa was Ă lvaro de Campos. Participation in the design, drawings and graphics. These images are the final result of this work.

For whom is the architecture done? For what kind of people?, if this is not difficult to define already. For whom is a university done? Now I am sure of it, it is done for us: for us reading, studying, learning, discussing and growing. Because to grow, sometimes, it is not necessary that time passes, it is necessary that life happens.

The question was how to rehabilitate a farmhouse for a new use, how to provide it again with life. The answer was found in the ruins. The defeat (or the ruin) can be the most shining victory. I understood that the wall, on having been constructed, is in itself the ruins. Something like to be destroyed to know that one is one himself and not all the rest.
