CAST BIOS
Megan Ayers she/her (Knight) is a current junior theater major with a concentration in theater studies. She has been involved with various shows in the School of Theater over the past few years, but The Night Knights quickly became one of her favorites after the first rehearsal. She is excited to share with audiences of all ages the hard work put into making this play as entertaining and fun as everyone involved had!
Andy Brown he/him (Knight) is incredibly excited about his on-stage debut with The Mason Players! Andy is from Springfield, Pennsylvania, and is a proud alumnus of Springfield Theater Workshop, Carmela’s Dance Studio, and Upper Darby Summer Stage. He is the most recent recipient of the Summer Stager of The Year award. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support.
Peter Dasher he/him (Knight) is a sophomore who is ecstatic to once again be leaving his signature impression onstage. Peter is currently working for AFYP. Prior credits include films such as Kaijuburbia and Spider-Man: Blood Brothers as well as playing Henry in The Road to the End workshop’s staged reading.
Martin Desjardins he/him (Knight) is a senior at GMU, although he will be returning to school for an additional year in the fall. A BA performance major with minors in dance and event tech, he keeps busy. You may have seen him in The Originals! and Hookman, or backstage as a dramaturg for Just Like Us and 1,001 Plays.
Ella Grant she/her (Knight) is a first-year student at George Mason and is thrilled to perform in her second production with The Mason Players: her first production being The Originals! last semester. Ella is from Lynchburg, Virginia where she was seen in roles such as Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins and Morticia Addams in The Addams Family. She sends love to her family and friends who have always supported her!
Elie Griggs they/them (Swing/Understudy) is a second-year musical theater major at Mason. They are from Camden, South Carolina, and have also been seen in the Mason Player’s 1,001 Plays (Camila) and Head Over Heels (Ensemble/ US Pythio). Elie is thrilled to be in this production, and wants to thank their friends, family, and cast mates!
Dyllan Hutchison she/her (Knight) is very excited to be a part of The Night Knights production as it is her first experience with devised theater. Some notable roles and accomplishments of hers in the Mason theater community would include multiple roles in the 1,001 Plays exchange in 2022, being a playwright for the Mason Player's The Originals! this past fall, and being the president of the Mason Improv Association.
Michelle Rizzo she/her (Knight) is a junior majoring in theater with a performance concentration, and this is the first Mason Players production she has acted in. In her sophomore year, she assistant stage managed the fall production of Loves Labors. Michelle is focusing more on film, and has done two films so far, which are No Endings (2022) directed by Sean Williams, and And...Scene! (2023) directed by Jonah Manibusan. Michelle is so thankful to be a part of such a playful and positive production.
Nathan Tilley he/him (Knight) is a current junior at George Mason, majoring in theater with a concentration in performance. He has had the privilege to be a part of several shows here at Mason. You may have seen him as Little Stone in Eurydice, or at some of the talk backs here for shows like Just Like Us and Sutta as the moderator/dramaturg. Nathan expresses his thanks to everyone watching the show, as well as his friends, family and all those involved with the production.
Production Bios
Caroline Austin she/her (Stage Manager) is a senior at George Mason University. She is graduating this semester with a BA in theater studies and a minor in design and technical theater. When she is not on campus, Caroline spends her time working in the D.C. area as a teaching artist and a freelance scenic painter.
Raynell Crook she/her (Assistant Stage Manager) is a third year theatre education major at George Mason and has had the pleasure of being part of a couple different productions including as assistant director for Sutta.
Brooke Emeott she/her (Sound Designer) worked on The Originals! last semester as a co-sound designer and is excited to be the designer on this show.
