Winter Wonderland
All Ages Come out and enjoy the festivities at our annual Winter Wonderland. Witness our arena transformed into a festive wonderland showcasing a toboggan run, fire on ice, skating, shinny hockey, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa himself! Skate rentals are included. Two time slots to choose from. Please register in advance, online at reccowichan.ca. New Year’s Eve Family Event Christmas Family Skate
The arena will be transformed with lights, trees, and decorations. Bring your family and enjoy the on-ice activities or warm up around the fire. Santa will stop by for a special visit and bring treats for the little ones. Event is open to ‘children’ of all ages. Winter Wonderland Skate
Bring the whole family to this fun, festive-themed skate. Our arena will be filled with lights, decorations, and holiday music. We’ll have arts and crafts for the kids and tons of exciting activities on the ice, including our always popular crazy carpet slide. Sit down and warm up around our on-ice fireplace. Santa Claus will stop by to say hello and give out treats to the little ones. This event is FREE but tickets are required. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Cowichan Community Centre starting November 14. New Year’s Eve Family Celebration
Join us again this year as we bring in the New Year, family-style, at the Cowichan Community Centre. Our FREE celebration will have something for the whole family, including face painting, a photo booth, and other new attractions. Our early countdown will take place just before 8:00 p.m., complete with noise makers, prizes, and the always popular balloon drop!
