Artists Development Programme

School The School has been created as a personal response to the subject of Painting and the Landscape (SOLP). It aims to combine the practical challenges of painting with that of academic study and so encourage the individual’s deeper communication of their subject. Developing as an artist has become the main focus of School of Landscape Painting. It is a practical course that aims to establish a fully functional pictorial understanding of the idea of landscape and our individual response. Our aim is to create landscapes of our time with timeless qualities. The Artist Development Programme (ADP) includes a field trip to Wales. This is a week of uninterrupted time on the St David’s Peninsula, gathering material for later work in the year . Then each month a day course from 9.30am – 4.00 pm at one of our chosen studios in Sussex & Hampshire from October 2014 to July 2015.
