The scenery before us is a stunning reflection of the relentless expansion of the Borneo rainforest. The towering columns, wrapped in wooden strips, emulate the mystical essence of the tall trees. The surrounding terrain provides a gentle yet formidable embrace to the land

FLOWING IMMACULATELY DOWN THE STREAM IN THE MIDST AND MID OF BUILDING, HEARTED ADJOINTING RESIDENTIAL LEVEL

Hands down to the regional idea. The apartment took into close consideration of proposing consistent typology reflecting in Borneo Architecture by assessing every possible potential roof shape that can carry out proper flow of rainwater and preventing excessive exposure of daylight, decreasing the level of living spaces with the building itself

The building is orientated to north-south direction This is to allow the frontage to be facing the main road standing at a 2-point perspective. An L shaped building not only helps in visual comfort of two elongated horizontal organization, but also provide indirect shading for occupants at the lobby itself

The central idea that forms the foundation of the design process revolves around finding ways to create a residential space that not only respects the site's context but also preserves the unique culture and characteristics of Borneo's communal houses

A pledge for greenery understanding what embodies borneo architecture potential to grow and develop nationwide

A delicate fusion of symmetrical design, contemporary vibes, and urban flair - the perfect recipe for a dreamy abode!

Residential units are designed with a concept following the typology of how Iban community arranged the position of every functional space within their longhouses

Daylight is the main priority with respective function of every space within the unit to play role on providing sufficient human comfort

A design concept that eliminates walls and other barriers between different living spaces in a building An open layout is implemented in this residence so that it can facilitate social interaction among occupants by creating a sense of openness and connection between different living spaces. This can be particularly beneficial in residential buildings, where families and friends can gather and interact in a more relaxed and informal setting
