By creating your password with the following characteristings in mind, you can create a strong and secure password for your online accounts, which will help to protect your personal and financial information from cybercriminals.
Length & Complexity: A good password should be at least 6 characters long. The longer the password, the more di cult it is for cybercriminals to guess or crack it. A strong password should include a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters such as symbols and punctuation marks.
Unpredictability & Uniqueness: Avoid using easily guessable information such as your name, birthdate, or other personal information in your password. Also, avoid using common words or phrases that are easy to guess. Use a di erent password for each of your online accounts, including your internet banking account. This way, if one password is compromised, your other accounts will still be protected.
Do not share: Never share your password with anyone, including family members or friends. Your internet banking password should be kept confidential and only used by you.
Orange Credit Union will never ask for your password.
