1. Job Purpose: ¾ Provide editing skills throughout the production process in conjunction with the Senior Editor ¾ Establish and maintain good relationships with both in-house team and freelance contractors ensuring our products are edited to a high standard 2. Key Tasks: ¾ Assess and copy-edit manuscripts ensuring the material is consistent with CWR’s statement of faith and distinctive biblical model ¾ Edit and proofread text, to ensure accuracy. Ensure all edited text is meeting scheduled dates. ¾ Occasional copywriting ¾ Maintain good relationships with freelance contractors and with team of designers ¾ Some commissioning of approved writers, editors, proofreaders ¾ Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Christian writers ¾ Oversee various projects


3. Standards by which performance will be measured: ¾

Accurate and timely editing – and – proofreading of text

¾ Ability to organise, collate and commission ¾

Manage workload and when required work unsupervised
