Job Purpose Maintain the cleanliness of Waverley Abbey House and to ensure all rooms and general areas are presentable each day Ensure a swift and presentable turnaround of bedrooms for residential guests

Key Tasks Carry out the complete cleaning schedule for the main House. Ensure all toilets are fully cleaned and replenished as required and in line with business needs. Ensure all conference rooms are kept clean and tidy at all times. That they are polished and hoovered in accordance with the cleaning schedule. Ensure all conference rooms have adequate boxes of tissues, a waste bin and that the window furnishings are in working order. Report any faulty lights or maintenance problems you may come across. Ensure the offices are polished and hoovered and bins emptied in line with the cleaning schedule. Ensure the coffee bar, hallway and reception are cleaned in line with the business needs and cleaning schedule. Ensure all furniture, small ornaments and plants are put back to their original place if they have been moved. Keep the main reception area free from debris. Carry out deep clean on the whole house when business is low.
Carry out cleaning of all fixtures and fittings, walls and floors below six foot to the company standards and according to the cleaning schedule. Ensure when high cleaning is carried out health and safety procedures are adhered to. Ensure C.O.S.H.H regulations are adhered to. Ensure Health and Safety and Manual handling guidelines are all adhered to. Use the correct cleaning equipment and methods to carry out any given task. Ensure accommodation is fully equipped and is clean and ready for use. Clean shower heads in the bedrooms monthly and log in Housekeepers file. Count and check laundry when it is returned on a weekly basis. Ensure all accommodation fixtures, fittings and furniture are all in working order Identify anything that needs attention and to log this job accordingly. Look after and maintain the houseplants. Be on time for your shift and work the hours that comply with your contract. Ensure company uniform is worn at all times. Carry out the above duties in the East wing when required. Carry out your normal duties for special occasions that may be outside of normal working hours and flexibility to assist in cases of holiday and sickness. Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if possible. Attend to any reasonable request by your line manager
