Labyrinth + Cyber + Empathy... FOREWORD TO THE SECOND ISSUE Mode of access: Internet via World Wide Web.
The labyrinth is, in other words, a starting point of our logo creation. The labyrinth is also a symbolic motif in art full of intricate twists and turns. Its presence in different cultures had to symbolize a hard path of enlightenment. Related to many legends and beliefs on all continents, it is connected in a special way with a universal space - the Cyberspace. The labyrinth is associated with the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Medieval cathedrals labyrinths are called the Jerusalem roads. During the Baroque period there were garden mazes as a part of an entertainment and the labyrinths used for searching and "looking for the means" in psychoanalysis. The second element is a circle, which played a huge role in Western civilization. The circle is also known as a symbol of cosmic orderliness. And the Cyberspace is seen as a part of this and inner worlds. The circle is filled with redness as a symbol of Empathy.
