❖ They are intangible and generally, transactions are done via web/internet. ❖ Webinars, Articles, video tutorials, E-courses and Study materials, electronic tickets and coupons, etc. are some examples of digital products.

Main benefits of selling digital products include - No stock or warehouse operations overheads. - No manufacturing overheads. - Data contents are easy to handle. - Easy to upgrade. - Automation can be implemented in sales.

To include the Digital file to your product you can go to the settings of the website and can enable the option of Digital content and thereby you can add the digital file to your product.

The normal user can access this product from E-commerce only with portal user credentials.
❖
Every e-commerce orders are confirmed in Odoo backend which go through setting payment transaction from Accounting/Invoicing side and Confirming payment for the corresponding sale order.
❖
Once the order got backend confirmation, the users can see their order details from his/her account in Odoo E-commerce site.
Goto Website -> ConďŹ guration > Settings
Enable the option Digital content > Save
Goto Website > Products > Create
Provide product name type,price etc. > Click on the Digital Files
Click > Create
Provide the type,upload ďŹ le > Save
We can see the added Digital ďŹ le from product form
Then Goto Website > Shop > Search for the product
Add to Cart
Goto Orders > Select the current order > conďŹ rm the sale order
Create Invoice > Validate
Register the payment > POST
Click on My Account
Click > on the sale Orders
Select the sale order from the sale orders
We can download Digital ďŹ le by clicking Downloads
