For that purpose, we can use the concept of upselling which is basically a technique where the seller will encourage the customer to go for a higher-end product which is more costly compared to the base variant.

The added feature on the base variant will sometimes be just a luxury add-on, but the seller will try to make sure that the customer ends up buying the higher variant itself.

Examples of mobile phones can be taken into consideration here.

Most phones will have a base variant and a top variant.
❖
The maximum marketing and promotions will be given to the top end variant so that customers are more inclined to that variant and ends in a good sale.

To include Alternative Product > Go to the eCommerce tab of the product detail form and from there you can provide the alternative products and can also mention the website where you want it to be shown.
Goto Website -> Products > Select any Product
Goto Website > Products : Under eCommerce tab add Alternative product > Products > Select any Products >Save
Goto Website > Select product > We can see the alternative products for this product
Click on the alternative product > Edit > Edit in Back end
Add alternative product to product under eCommerce Tab > Save > Goto website
We can see the added alternative product
