Triathlon bicycle
The triathlon bike, a cousin of the road race cycle, is all about speed as well, but it is made to allow you to ride as fast as you can on your own. To maximize power output and comfort in the aero bars while being as aerodynamic as possible, the frame shape is steeper. You'll move more quickly the longer you can stay in the aero bars. With shifters at the end of the aero bars, the design is slick. As the only position from which you may use your brakes is the bull horns, the triathlon bike is discouraged on group rides.
