Design e qualità Santini Quality and design Santini Abbiamo fatto una scelta. La scelta di progettare e realizzare i nostri capi esclusivamente in Italia. Lo facciamo dal 1965. Oggi arriviamo a produrre oltre 2000 capi al giorno ed esportiamo il 70% della nostra produzione. Qualcuno ci chiama “Puristi”. Forse perché non sono i numeri a muoverci ma la passione, quella vera, incontrollabile, che ci rende orgogliosi ogni volta che un nostro atleta taglia il traguardo. Forse perché quel qualcuno non sa che siamo alla costante ricerca di materiali innovativi e di nuove metodologie produttive e che ogni giorno lavoriamo per migliorare i nostri prodotti. We made a choice. To design and produce all our products exclusively in Italy. We do it since 1965. We produce more than 2000 garments a day and we export 70% of our production. Memory 20 is a shockproof material made of expanded nitrile rubber (PNB) that assures the maximum protection against crashes. We worked with this material to create special shapes to protect from crashes. Extremely light (they weight only 0,18 g/ cm³), waterproof, anti-shock and vibration resistant, the Memory 20 protectors have been glued onto the DFend jacket and bib-tights in the areas at risk (shoulders, elbows, shoulder-blades, hips). They are active at temperatures between -35 and +25 C° and they possess a “memory” that allows them to re-form after every crash. Another revolutionary introduction from Santini in the pursuit of protection perfection.

Memory 20 è un materiale anti-urto in gomma nitrilica viscoelastica espansa (PNB) che assicura la massima protezione ad ogni urto. Abbiamo lavorato questo materiale per crearne delle sagome di protezione per le cadute. Estremamente leggere (pesano solo 0,18 grammi/ cm³), idrofobe, antishock e antivibrazioni, le protezioni Memory 20 sono state applicate al giubbino e alla calzamaglia della linea DFend, attraverso un’ incollatura al tessuto, nelle zone a maggior rischio (spalle, gomiti, scapole, fianchi). Sono attive a temperature tra i -35 e i +25°C e possiedono una “memoria” che permette loro di autoriformarsi dopo ogni urto. Una novità assoluta nel campo del bike-wear che dà inizio ad una rivoluzione del concetto di sicurezza.

Santini were the first company to introduce Silicon Gel into its chamois. Thanks to its jelly like consistency, the gel offers low thermal conductivity, avoids overheating and stimulates the blood circulation at the points where it is in contact with the body. Twist Gel✿ is different from traditional filling foams; it helps to correctly distribute body weight, reduce the load in certain areas and perfectly absorb vibrations. The micropores of the Gel layer help to enhance ventilation. This guarantees effective transportation of the sweat to the outside of the material. Its shape can be twisted by up to 800% under compression, it returns to the original dimension without any change.
