Company story
Ruder Berna The story all began on a lazy after noon in a small cafe on fifth avenue (New York).Whilst Winston was enjoying a rich latte and looking at the view of some of the greatest brands in the world. Winston was truly touched and inspired by the design and craftsmanship of these brands such as Hermes and Louis Vuitton. Both of these brands core philosophy are based on personalization and quality, Hermes originated from creating personalized horse riding equipment whilst Louis Vuitton created personalized luggage that was easy to carry.In today's market where it is flooded with cheap imitations these brands still insist on hand crafting the best quality products making their brands immortal.Winston reflected on the current bike riding culture and the epiphany of combining boutique manufacturing and single speed bike riding came to mind. Winston then started planning for the designs and construction of these magnificent works of art and after years of hard work, Ruder Berna has now become renown in the area of personalized single speed bikes with emphasis in customized playful colours. However, Winston wanted to further incorporate the boutique manufacturing culture into the bikes produced. Ruder Berna would then be separated into the several of different brands such as Eightper and Funla,Sunny Black ect. They will display different design concepts and qualities for both of single and speed bikes.

The prestige of RUDERBERNA family brand Puristico is issued in 2015. Brands of Eightper and Funla are for upper and basic markets. Puristico alloy bicycle be name as RuderBerna (RB) that would behalf of high level market. It will also lead Ruderberna family to continue improving the products t o r e a c h p e o p l e ’s d e m a n d .

Eightper is focused on design and creating high quality and stylish bike, it is become a leader brand in the fixed gear market of Taiwan . In order to feedback from Eightper fans, founder Mr.Winston have developed a new special model, which is call Eightper S edition. We have done many detail design for each parts. Eightper S gives fans another best choice. Eightper S is used Italian COLUMBUS CORMOE tubes, and you could see the special ideas on many placed. On the other hand, the ergonomic is also a core design for S edition, perfect frame geometry could let you more comfortable. Eightper S is different than the same price of range bicycle in market; it will give you more fashion and perfect satisfaction.

The core philosophy & concepts of Eightper are to make quality products that last for infinity. As mentioned before, Winston has always wanted to make bikes that met the stringent standards of boutique manufacturing and he picked 8 core concept designs out of 100 that met such standard and further deriving the brand name Eightper. In the near future, we look forward to produce bikes that will change the traditional view of single speed bikes and hopefully gathering a clan of Eightpers.
