Born in Detroit, Dr. McClerkin always knew she wanted to be a physician. Dr. McClerkin attended Michigan State University before moving to Houston. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine; shortly after graduating she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Family Medicine. Dr. McClerkin owns The Wellness Doc brands, with a successful growing integrative practice in the heart of Houston’s Medical Center area. The Sports & Wellness Doc offers a wide range of comprehensive services to meet the needs of athletes, adults, seniors, pediatric, and pre & postnatal patients. Dr. McClerkin’s team of professional caregivers specialize in providing personalized chiropractic therapy.
