Continuing on in our event-filled day we come to our own Kiwanis president, Cindy's, hosted event! End 68 hours of Hunger was beyond amazing with the scavenger hunt, sapphire girls, and of course the amazing food. Even down to the last detail everything was well thought out and planned. Time went by incredibly fast and although it was a 6 hour event it was enjoyable and not at all tiring. (Surprisingly) Even our amazing Kiwanis president's dad provided us with rides home! We're begin grateful to be a part of this amazing event, and to meet such wonderful people who actually want to make a difference. This event was a major eye changer and I hope that this is only the beginning of a new fantastic world I will discover.

S’mores an Meteors Our city of American Canyon hosted a S'mores and Meteors event for this year's biggest meteor shower occurrence. Over 500 people showed up to eat the s'mores, play the games, and look through the telescopes that we had set up for everyone. The event was pretty lit since we made games like ring toss and four square out of glow sticks and ran them for the kids to enjoy. Overall a very fun event for everyone, especially if you got to see some meteors.

Griffin Day Some members of our key club volunteered at our school’s orientation. On both days that we volunteered, we helped our school academic counselor pass out schedules to middle school and high school students. It was pretty neat because we also got to welcome new students to our school while passing out schedules!
