The dues breakdown is as follows: $7.00 to Key Club International, $4.50 to the CNH Key Club District, all for a grand total of $11.50. The following is a glimpse at what our dues payment goes to: International: Membership card, Administrative Budget, International Officer Budgets, Key Club magazine, International Convention, Awards, and more! I November 1st (RECEIVED BY): This is the date for early bird t and it is highly encouraged that your club's dues are received y by then. I personally recommend to physically mail out the b dues by October 15th, 2016 to almost ensure the chances of ( your club receiving early bird recognition. y December 1st (RECEIVED BY): This is the last date before h you are considered late on submitting your dues. It is vital you u have your invoice and check sent in time to ensure participai

tion at DCON and qualifications for elections. If the club you serve does not submit dues by this deadline, the club will be recognized as a delinquent club. If dues are not paid by February 1st, then the club will become suspended. Remember that you can submit dues more than once, as long as the first submission is by December 1st. There is NO max membership! Go crazy! Recruit the whole school!

Benicia First Club Meeting! On Thursday September 29, our high school’s Key Club held its first official club meeting. Held in our school’s MP room, club president Kiersten R., along with all the other officers, discussed upcoming events and information on becoming official Key club members. With more members than last year, our club had never looked better to serve the community. -Augustine Quejado
Benicia Farmer ’s Market On October 13, two more Key Club members were sent out to help out the Benicia Main Street crew at the farmers market. From directing foot traffic to manning the Main Street stall, our members did it all. Throughout the two 2 hour shifts, our members helped the Main Street Ladies keep the farmers market running smoothly. -Augustine Quejado

Toys For Dogs During the month of September, our club made dog toys for the dogs at the humane society of Vallejo. Our club was able to make and deliver over 50 dog toys, which were made of old t-shirts that members donated. Our work day was super fun because old members got to work with and meet new member, all while putting together the toys!

Trick or Treat for UNICEF Following the Key Club tradition, our club is once again participating in Trick or Treat for UNICEF. Last year, which was our first year to do the fundraiser, our club was able to raise over $300. With almost triple the amount of members in our club this year, we also hope to increase our contribution to eliminate!

Vanden Regional Training Conference RTC is an annual event with Region 9! Although I did not get to attend, we got great feedback from our members who did, such as Alick Obligacion whose Instagram caption I'm stealing for a quote (thanks alick!!) "RTC was one of the best weekends of my life. I wouldn't give anything up in the world for these memories. I am really honored to be a part of Key Club. Key Club is truly life... Sucks that it's my last year. I wish all the future Key Clubbers the best!" At the following meeting, others too agreed that attending RTC gave them the best weekend of their life and that RTC really expanded their view on Key Club and how impactful it truly is. Until next year!

t n e m a n r u o T l l a b e g D od On September 30, 2016, Fairfield High School's Key Club has hosed the 2nd annual Dodgeball Tournament! I was in a team called "Nhu-bees" and it was a fun event. Although we weren't in the top 3, it was still an exciting event! Everybody had fun, the players and the audiences. The audiences were cheering for their team, and helps motivates the players. There were also other teams from other schools which made it even better! Even the dodgeball team from UC Davis has played in the tournament! It was a very successful event and I'm looking forward for the next annual Dodgeball Tournament!
