dne’s message

HAPPY SUMMER, TURTLES!

I hope you’re all having a great summer so far! Some of you have summer school but be sure you’re still having fun! Personally, I’m enjoying the weather with all the sunshine since I almost never went outside during the school year. Also, I’ve been eating food and watching YouTube too much lately but I don’t want to stop.

This month, we have many events planned that will help raise funds for our main charity, PTP. I wish to see you all there!

Have a nice summer, turtles! Remember to wear sunscreen and be safe!

bake sale

Recently, we hosted a bake sale to raise money for PTP. Both weekend shoppers and Key Clubbers could make a donation and receive baked goods in return. Baked goods that were sold included donuts, cookies, cupcakes and Rice Krispies treats. In the end, many funds were raised and people were able to enjoy a sweet treat for their donation.

metal straws

Throughout the months of May and June, the division sold metal straws to raise funds for PTP. Pouches were also sold for $1 each. The straws will be distributed at the June DCM to members who pre-ordered on the form. Through these metal straws, this is how we play our part in helping the environment and supporting PTP.
