Martin Luther King Parade

On January 14th, members from Millikan, Poly, Sato, and Wilson helped out with the local 35th MLK Parade! Rain or shine, members of Division 13 South continue to serve! Before the event, members moved chairs, tables, and boards as well as placing barricades to h e l p direct people. Moreover, I s a w performances by schools’ marching bands a n d color guards, making the event even more exciting. All in all, I was happy t o serve my community on a memorable day!

ICE- SKATING FUNDRAISER

Division 13 South hit the ice on January 28th for the annual ice skating fundraiser! Lakewood Ice’s rink enticed key clubbers with color-changing LED lights and plenty of Taylor Swift. A pleasant time was had by all, and absolutely no one fell, especially not m e... That m a y be an exaggerated version of events, but everyone still had fun, despite a few knee bruises :) All in all, members r a i s e d $316, which breaks this term’s individual fundraiser record! That money will go to DCON subsidies. The DLT would like to thank everyone who attended for both staying involved in Key Club and making DCON more accessible to future club leaders. See you all at next year’s ice skating fundraiser!
