Major Emphasis Project

Mission: To bring together all Key Clubs and members to focus on making an international impact in the theme “Children: Their future, Our Focus.”

Background:

Major Emphasis was started shortly after Key Club’s first International Convention in 1946, when they were tasked with creating a program in which all members could work together to change the world. Our Impact: According to cnhkeyclub.org, “Since 1925, Key Club International has provided more than 12 million hours of service to homes, schools, and communities each year. From building bridges, to collecting over six tons of food, thousands of dollars raised for cancer research, helping eliminate iodine

deficiency disorder, Key Club International plays a vital role in serving the children of the world.” Partner Organizations: UNICEF, March of Dimes, Children’s Miracle Network What You Can Do: At the club level, you can help raise money for partner organizations and participate in service events near you. Any service project that involves aiding children or our partner organizations is part of the Major Emphasis project. You can also help your club create their own service project

and enter the Key Club International Major Emphasis Contest.
