HELLO H U S K E Y S, I am Julieann Bui and I serve you as the Lieutenant Governor of Division 36 West! As we all ended school this past month in June, we have shifted gears into SUMMER. Although school has ended, Key Club keeps going. Please keep in mind that summer is an opportunity to plan and serve. I wish you al l good luck in planning for the upcoming year. I also hope that you all had a great school year! This past month, your division leadership team has been working hard to plan for the next month as well as the upcoming school year. They have done an amazing job so far, and have been a great deal of help in making this division strive on service. July is a busy month, I hope you are all ready for it! MASSIVEWATERS Division 36 East & Division 36 West: JUNEJOINTDCM The first joint division 36 event! We raised about $100 towards Project Eliminate. Division 36 West discussed Kiwanis Firework booths, upcoming events for the month of July, Monthly Report Forms, and a new president’s report for communication.

The division leadership team has been actively working for the month of June to plan and organize the entire term. The June DCM would not have been possible if it was not for them, as well as their studious work for all the events for the month of July and the rest of the term! Thank you for all that you do!
Do you want to be a part of the Division Leadership Team? Vacant Positions: Historian: Historians will be responsible for attending all division events due to the fact that visuals are necessary for the editor and district to receive. After every event, photos are due to Lt. Governor and Editor the following day by 6:00PM.
Division News Editor: The Division News Editor is responsible for updating the division and district electronically. Your responsibilities will be: -publish/submit a monthly newsletter -filter division submissions -record division submissions -submit articles/visuals on behalf of the division they serve -train Club Editors to produce/collect quality submissions Although these give the basics of a DNE, there will also be more to take care of in terms of implementing social networks to promote this division.
Fall Rally Spirit Coordinator: This coordinator will be responsible for Fall Rally in the sense of Spirit. You will create cheers, teach cheers, and provide a spirited division. You will lead this division during Fall Rally itself along with working closely with the Lt. Governor on all subjects that pertain to Fall Rally. This position may have a team of coordinators.

SPOTLIGHT ON SERVICE
"Conkerr Cancer is an organization started by a mother who's son had cancer. She would make pillow cases for him other children as well, for a piece of joy and escape. This organization has grown over time and Grand Terrace loves to help create smiles on these small but brave heroes. Grand Terrace members volunteer at a local home to make them by hand by sizing, sewing, and ironing! On Sunday May 25th they created more smiles for the children in our local hospital! If you'd like to do the same, there could be a local Conkerr Cancer near you!" - Ana Xajil | Grand Terrace

127TH CITY OF COLTON BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION 7/12/14 Division 36 West will be volunteering for one of the community’s most popular yearly events as they celebrate the birth of the city. Do not forget to bring signed permission and waiver forms! THIS WILL ALSO BE OUR JULY DCM.

D36W CAR WASH 7/19/14 Division 36 West will be raising funds for Project Eliminate! This will be our very first individual division fundraiser of the term.

REGION4OLYMPICS|LAKECLEANUP Divisions 06N, 06S, 36E, 36W, and 47’s summer service event! We will be cleaning around Lake Matthews, having DCM’s, and region water Olympics. Do not miss out and make sure to register!
