A Letter from your LTG
Hello Huskeys, Happy 2015! As we are now entering January, that means we only have about three months left in the term. It truly has gone by like the speed of lightening. I hope everyone had an amazing end to their 2014! Thank you to all the clubs that have paid dues! With that, some highlights throughout our division as we close the year are: raising $1500 for Pediatric Trauma Program, raising $500 for Project Eliminate (and still going), 2891 reported service hours, and increased division attendance! These are great milestones that have been accomplished throughout this term and this could not have been done without the members of this division. As we prepare to close the year, please keep in mind that we will be having Conclave on January 10th, where we elect the next Lieutenant Governor. Please also make sure that your club starts club nominations by the end of January/Early February. Club elections should be done before District Convention! District Convention is around the corner! I hope you are planning for the most anticipated event of the term as well as excited. I am very glad to see many clubs in the process of planning for DCON. Remember, all district deadlines like District Convention Registration, District Contests & Awards, District Scholarships are all due JANUARY 15TH.
Thank you!
Serving Through The Winter Storms, Julieann Bui.

District Convention is one entire weekend dedicated to celebrating service, leadership, and family. As our year of service is coming to an end, there is also a new one beginning. This is the opportunity to learn new leadership skills, to better improve clubs, and to receive information that can benefit you (such as college expo's, selfconfidence work shops, making new friends, etc). Planning for your clubs should be very close to the end in collecting registration, District Convention planning should have began in October/November.
If there are anyone interested for running for Lieutenant Governer, please contact Julieann Bui immediately! There is limited time left, so better hurry!
