This past Friday, April 16th, Kaiser High School held our Officer Board Transition Meeting. The meeting was a joint service event with members having the option to create cards for senior citizens or graduating seniors. Every 4 cards would be worth 1 hour of service. During the meeting members and officers played several games for fun as well. The first was a scavenger hunt in whihc members chose household items the officers would then have to rush and find. The first officer back was given a point that added to a total. The new officer board ended up beating the old board by just 1 point! Members and officers then went on to play a Kahoot FInally, the meeting ended with a Wikipedia race, in which members and officers alike raced through Wikipedia links to reach a page completely unrelated to the one they started from. Overall it was an enjoyable two hours and a great way to end the term for the club!

Hello Huskeys!! My name is Frida Monreal and I will proudly be serving your division! I am so humbled to be given this opportunity to serve as your next Lieutenant Governor. I am so excited to meet all of you and to support you through this whole term! We may be in the midst of a huge pandemic but this will not stop us from seeking fulfillment in our key club experience. I will work long and hard for all of us to reach the goals we set for this term. Speaking of goals, I hope we can all raise 3,000 dollars for the Pediatric Trauma Program, expand our knowledge of Key Club and create a bond with our Kiwanis. I also hope to bring in more members not only to Key Club but also to events! Then, if the conditions are right, I hope we can get the SPIRIT STICK at Fall Rally!! This term will be very unique just like this past one but we can all go through this together. I will be next to you in an instant if you need me to help you create ideas for your club service events to simply want someone to watch anime with. I will be YOUR biggest supporter and friend before a Lieutenant Governor!!

I could have never been able to do this without the people I have met this term. They have all inspired me to go above and beyond. Creating moments where we all laughed and smiled. If I had never accepted the brightly colored piece of paper saying Key Club that some juniors gave me freshman year I have no idea where I would be today. This club has brought me so much joy that it is hard to express in words. Although seniors are going to graduate this year we are thankful for your hard work. Thank you for the time you all have put into this club. I wish I could thank you all in person. Now you go and reach the stars and do it with a smile. Planning to reach the stars with you, Frida Monreal D36W Lieutenant Governor 2021-2022
