GEOMETRY 1. In the third century BC geometry was put into an axiomatic form by Euclid, whose treatment – Euclidean geometry – set a standard for many centuries to follow. The field of astronomy, especially mapping the positions of the stars and planets on the celestial sphere, served as an important source of geometric problems during the next one and a half millennia.

d_luxe embraces the whimsical, softer side of punk’s perennial icon Patti Smith for the SUMMER SET, elaborating the success of the DREAM WEAVER range. Embracing softer tones of nude and ballet-slipper pink, with a cheeky hint of black leather and cocktail-party gold THE SUMMER SET palette reflects the aesthetic of sun bleached ‘70s photography through the rose-tinted vision of hip new-romantics. The cultural icons might still be the same, but the protagonists have retired to the country manor for this collection.

Inspired by the 1970’s punk-poet Patti Smith, 'DREAM WEAVER' pays homage to the jewellery that became Smith's signature style and the lyrics that defined her albums. Traces of Patti Smith can be found in all facets of the collection, from references to three of her album titles (“Peace & Noise”, “Twelve” & “Gone Again”) to her signature small gold cross, leather braided bracelets, woven enamel pendants and circular 70’s inspired charms.
