DaDa Fest
DaDaFest 5 kindly sponsored by: DaDaFest photographs by Leila Romaya
Welcome to DadaFest 5 Wow! Five years of DaDaFest – what an achievement! There are many, many people to thank for getting us to this stage, and we start by especially thanking our main funders, Arts Council England: Northwest and Liverpool Culture Company who are committed to the work of Disabled and Deaf artists. Also our thanks go to all the people who attend DaDaFest events and support the unique perspectives of Disability and Deaf Arts which resonate long after they are experienced. I am more than thrilled to welcome you to this year’s festival. Yet again, we have an exciting line up of well known U.K. artists through to the homegrown DaDaFest celebrities covering a wide range of
activities, from comedy, music, workshops, exhibitions and a family event at the Sefton Park Palm House. We are again holding, the now annual DaDaAwards Dinner at the Crown Plaza on 1st December. As in previous years we are promoting activities from our faithful supporting partners: National Museums Liverpool; Tate Liverpool; Unity Theatre; Liverpool Community College and Merseyside Play Action Council. Thank you for helping DaDAFest get to its fifth year. Hope you enjoy it Ruth Gould Creative Director of NWDAF
All performances have SLI and most have Audio Describers. Please contact NWDAF for further information.
