Fabulous Darlings! - The Life of Experimenting Art Young DaDa and YEP (Young Everyman Playhouse) have collaborated to create a piece based on the words ‘Art, Lived and Experiment’.
Becky - All I Want is Something New In her first solo dance performance, Becky is combining elements of street and contemporary dance. She would like to dedicate her dance to all her friends and family.
12 Direction A new choir will perform three songs. The group have been developing their talents in workshops with Sense of Sound.
Acting Up - Playing Up! Live music video with acting, singing, dancing and Makaton signing integrated into the performance!
Dance for Love - You’ve Got the Love This dance and movement piece starts as a solo which then develops into a group. It’s vibrant, energetic and full of love!
Sandfield Park Sound & Vision Happy We are a happy group of young people working together to show off our talents. We hope you enjoy our musical extravaganza.
Katie - Poetry Poetry with real meanings and special messages to those who struggle in life and a way of seeing how different the world is to those who are different from everyone else.
Amy Andrews - Already Over Back due to popular demand following her stunning performance at last year’s event, a solo singing performance by Amy. Song by Red.
RAWD This 6-minute comedy sketch explores summer days and the fun that can be had when a group of friends and a giant picnic blanket come together.
LIKEU Dance Group - I and Us Exploring the skills that we have and how we work together. Realising that we can achieve more when supporting each other. Being a diverse group makes us stronger!

Young DaDa Projects 2013-14 We have had a creative year at Young DaDa, with a variety of projects across different art forms. 290 young people took part in in 6 projects and we held 6 leadership group meetings. Here are some of the highlights:

Hope University Evaluation Project The workshops for this project developed a new way to gain feedback, with help from 15 young people. They gave a presentation with their findings. (Picture: Harry & Joel sharing a joke)
Alder Hey 24 young people took part in these artist led workshops at the Children’s Hospital. The young people worked towards producing postcards which have been printed for their final artwork. (Picture: Budding young artist)
Arts Awards We were proud to work with 10 young people to achieve their Bronze Arts Awards and one an Explore Arts Awards. (Picture: Completing an award)
Recipe for Scouse Liverpool is a city of rich culture and heritage. But what does it mean to be a young person growing up in this city? Champions Working with Sandfield Park School, Redbridge School, Aigburth School & Merseyside Youth Association a group of young people met to look at the accessibility of venues & what’s available for young people in the area, the group visited and quizzed venues. A Message from DaDaFest: Leadership Group We are delighted with the vision, enthusiasm and hard work of our Young DaDa Leadership Group. Involvement in this group develops leadership skills but it also helps us make sure what we do remains relevant to young disabled & deaf people. Their main role is to plan and organise Young DaDaFest, and this year we have formed smaller groups to work on programming, marketing and technical aspects of the event. We would like to say a great big thank you to the young people involved in the Leadership group who have worked on this year’s Young DaDaFest: Danielle, Joel, Jordan, Sarah, Joshua, Ben, Bec, Clare, Hedvika, Joanne, Michelle, Shreen, Deanna, Bethany, Dahbah, Peter, Olivia, Chris, Harry, James, Daniel and Mark.
