Final Reflection


INTRODUCTION Designing multimedia resources in ELT is a course that help us to create, organize and use different technological tools for improving and enhancing student`s learning. This portfolio shows us the participant`s reflection about the use of technology in the classroom. Some of the tools designed for the course, participant`s reaction about the readings and her final reflection about the course.


Philosophy I belief that technology is a great tool for improving and integrating the learning process because students, different situations, can access to a lot of platforms that help them to follow teacher`s instructors and search more about an specific topic . Also, they can recover material or receive immediate feedback from the facilitator online platform. According to Hepplestone, Parkin, Irwin, Holden, Thorpe & Burn (2010) Feedback is a fundamental aspect of effective learning, and is the most powerful ways to enhance and strengthen students learning, so giving online feedback establish more confidential relationship between teachers and students because they do not feel afraid or embarrassed in front of their classmates. For example, there are electronic templates that give to student’s assessment criteria and comments banks; this allows you to have a consistent control during the feedback activity. Finally, tutor or facilitator be aware that the material or websites should be reliable and well organized for avoiding distractors for the students.

I like this app because allows It needs Wi-Fi and us to create a video using internet conexion. my cellphone or tablet connected with an other cellphones or tablets. It is good for collaborative projects.

Speaking pal

It is good for practicing dialogues. It provides the script.

Dictionary

It provide the word of the day and its pronunciation. It allows you to mark a word as favorite in order to practice it.

Sometimes, the apps is very slow. It has few dialogues samples for free.


My Choice


Final Reflection Doubtless, Education has suffering for a long history challenges that contribute a great understanding of how education and technology are related and how achieve to each other. So, Professors need to be aware the cognitive implications of these technologies, and their impact on learning and teaching process and how educators are preparing for those changes for being competent in these changing world.
