techtendency
TECHTENDENCY People will be more conscious but the technology won’t stop develop. The world becomes more and more transparent and the social control will increase even more. Even though this won’t be transparent for the citizen, The feeling ‘big brother is watching you’ will get the overhand. That feeling will have an big influence on the intimacy and expression of people. This will result in two kinds of behaviour. 1. People are getting hunger for anonymity and safety, and will gather together to create communities, a result of seeking for safety. (community – safety – grey mass) 2. People do not want to be a part of this grey mass but are seeking for new expressions and possibili ties to stand out. They will look for products that will show their emotions, they will combine tech nology and emotions to the next level. They will use the benefits of the combining of technology and the human body. (expression – everything available – imagination – curiosity) by Dagmar Rijgersberg

SUPERNOVA’S NEON colours will be as outstanding as the trend itself. NEON will be used as an eyecatcher in accessorize. Surrounded by white and a grey colour pallet the NEON touch will be the eyecatcher of the interior to break up and stand out the cohesive interior.
in the work of UK artist and designer/consultant Sophie Smallhorn is akin with tapping into a whole new world. The superb talent, who works between drawing, painting, sculpture, installation design, and more, has the knack for visually cuing the deepest visceral levels of her works’ viewers, stimulating them through color and forms, and variations therein. With a particular fondness for yellow, she seamlessly bridges the gap between the realms of art, commerce, and design, and never ceases to brilliantly interpret the context of her works’ environment, whether it’s an actual place or just the viewers’ mind. For example this beautiful colourpallet of sophie smallhorn describes perfectly the effect of the SUPERNOVA. The grey mass surrounding the NEON yellow makes the SUPERNOVA outstanding and the eyecatcher of the grey mass.
ECLECTIC ADROGYNY Since everything is availabe for everyone when it comes to clothing, products etc. it is really hard to stand out and be a unique individual. This trend is not about the stereotypical, the lines will get blurred between man and woman. The ECLECTIC ADROGYNY trend will be influenced by UNISEX clothing. BERNARD HANDICK The artist Bernhard Handick is a young German artist and art director of ShoutOut Magazine. Identity, still life, sculpture, nudity, collage and painting are the most impotant theme’s in this work. As the artist says himself about his work: “I love the fusion of the object and the naket body. I hide the identity of the person, while at the same time transforming the work into an image with many faces. The imagination of the beholder completes the story behind the each work I make. Room for interpretation is an essential element of my work.”
