Car Show & Car Cruise

The best week of the year starts off with the annual Strawberry Days Car Show hosted by the Pleasant Grove Honorary Colonels. It’s a fundraiser for the Pleasant Grove Police Department’s K-9 Unit and the new While You Were Away Program.

The car show will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Shannon Ball Park, 240 W. 500 South., Pleasant Grove, with the Car Cruise starting at 2 p.m. There will be more than 100 cars, including classics, exotics and more! There will also be a helicopter, food trucks and a chance to meet Django, the 5-year-old German Shepherd K-9, and his handler.

Those attending can also purchase a donation ticket to be entered into a drawing for a TV, grill, Utah Grizzlies Hockey tickets, gift cards and much more.

A silent auction will feature a helicopter sightseeing ride over Mt. Timpanogos and Utah County for four people (a $2,000 value). Money raised will help fund the K-9 Unit and the WYWA program.

Anyone with a classic or exotic car can show it off at the Car Show for free! Just bring it down to Shannon Park by 7:15 a.m. on June 12 to get it registered.
