Library Book Sale

Love great books and great buys? Want to indulge in some super summer reading? Feel a desire to support our amazing library? The one that won the “Best of State” award this year (and for the seventh time)!

The Friends of the Springville Library are hosting a shelf-busting book sale during Art City Days. Let’s just say that with all of the “social-distancing,” we have built up a lot of great inventory. You’re going to love our non-doorbusting format this year with new books coming out at multiple times. We promise a great selection of books at any hour, any day.

Prior years’ sales have included some great finds. One year, there was a complete set of Nancy Drew books with several first-edition copies! What will this year’s sale uncover? We promise a literary treasure hunt where you are sure to find some great books by your favorite authors.

These reading materials will be offered at very low prices: hardcover books for $1, paperback books for 50 cents and magazines for 10 cents.

This year’s Art City Days Book Sale will be held Wednesday through Friday, June 9-11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the upper floor of the library, 45 S. Main, Springville.

Your book donations to the library really do make a difference, so keep them coming. It’s a simple way to help support our amazing library. Know your donations can reach far and that surplus books have been donated to causes such as school programs and orphanages in Africa and Mexico.

The Friends of the Library also sponsor an ongoing book sale at the front of the library. Come find great book buys throughout the year.
