THE FACE OF Real Estate

At Midwest Real Estate, there’s usually someone working seven days a week, often from sunrise to sunset – and sometimes after that. Midwest Real Estate Broker/Owner Eric Kofron and his staff are hard-working, diligent and dedicated. “Our team approach is unique and focuses on the needs and desires of each individual client, with a strong reputation and willingness to partner with financing and mortgage industries to help secure the best possible outcome in each real estate transaction,” said Eric. The Midwest staff use their long-standing experience to understand individual requirements and guide their clients throughout the selling and buying process for residential homes and commercial real estate. They do this while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism. Eric took over the business after his mother and founder of the business, Delena Kofron, passed away in July. “My mother had major success in all her years in real estate,” said Eric, “but when opening her own brokerage, there was no one who was putting out her fire. She was an inspiration, a leader, and she was always a goal setter. Once she reached her goal, she would set the next goal even higher.” Delena built the family business, along with Eric, based on strong family values, passion and transparency. The Midwest Real Estate staff continue to transfer their family values into everything they do, from the relationships the agents have with one another to the ones they have with their clients. “When someone is ready for their next real estate transaction, we hope you will let our awesome team at Midwest Real Estate assist you in reaching your real estate goals,” he said. “Buying or selling a property is an important decision, and we make sure you get quality real estate services.” Eric said, “And as for me, I will continue on with my mother’s legacy and hope I am as successful as she was. I will make her proud!” Pictured: Center; Owner Eric Kofron and the team at Midwest Real Estate

THE FACE OF Memorials and Monuments

Parkland Monument Co. has been family-owned and operated since 1927. Formerly known as Parkview Monument Works located on Weber Road in Farmington, Jeff Owens and his family purchased that business in 1997. In 2003, the family purchased the second – and current – location where they eventually moved all production. The company completes engraving and etching and produces their own monuments in-house. From working with the customer to design the monument to installing the completed stone, the overall process is personalized and completed by Parkland Monument Co. staff. “The fact that we have the ability to do everything ourselves provides the customer with complete flexibility of how we can design and produce their memorial,” said Jeff. He said any salesperson can sell a monument out of a catalog, but he can fully design and customize a monument stone. “Part of my job is to suggest ideas and inform our customers of what their options are,” he said. “I present the information so customers can make decisions, factor in their budget, etc.” Memorialization is Parkland Monument Co.’s primary business, which includes a variety of products such as monuments, memorial pavers, granite benches, yard stones and more. Parkland Monument Co. is committed to providing its customers with the best possible products, variety of selection and outstanding service. “Our attention to detail, knowledge and experience we provide our customers is superb,” said Jeff. “The fact that we can control every aspect of the services we provide is an advantage for our customers that no one else in the area can replicate.” Pictured in photo is Jeff Owens, owner of Parkland Monuments
