How important are musculoskeletal screening examinations in the management of pain and disability for any pain concern?

Insurance companies generally dictate how we evaluate and treat our patients as practitioners. We do however realize that at times the cause of pain and the location of pain can be di erent. Without a proper tool to determine the cause of pain we will miss the mark and limit progress. With insurance limitations as they are, it is important to maximize every patient visit and screening tools allow us to be e cient and save costs. Please feel free to contact the Institute of Physical therapy for any pain concerns to allow us to evaluate your needs to reduce pain and restore function.
