Online dating has skyrocketed since the birth of social media, as different dating sites and apps have popped up for every demographic imaginable. Into astrology? There is an app for that. Into farmers? There is an app for that. Into older women? There is an app for that.

Skepticism that says online dating will die down is far from reality. According to an article in The Telegraph, 70% of couples in the developed world will meet online by 2040, up from 46% today.
