March 15, 2007

Ever wonder where you can buy the cheapest beer or the best Mexican food? The ballots are in and the votes have been tallied to see what the best of Orange County is. The Daily Titan surveyed hundreds of students and faculty members to see where the best places in Orange Country are, from pizza, to shopping, to nightlife. The Best of Guide is a tool for students and faculty to use when deciding where to go to lunch, or where to go for

the best bang for your buck. Winners included Quizno’s, House of Blues, Nordstrom, and many other local establishments. The results were found through surveys published in the Daily Titan, and through S u r v e y m o n k e y. com from June 2006 to February 2007. The advertising team for the Daily Titan came up with the idea

from conventions they went an incentive for submitting to and from other school surveys and the winner will be announced in an upcoming ad in the paper. The winners of categories were often places that advertised frequently in the Daily Titan and that are close in proximity to CSUF. Although some of the winners are popular newspapers and then tailored among many students, there it for Orange County. The were a few surprises in the Ad team offered an iPod as results.

It’s also important to remember how much of an impact CSUF students and faculty have on the local economy. CSUF students have tremendous buying power, and without the support of students and faculty, businesses would lose a large amount of their profits. There is no doubt that CSUF will continue supporting local businesses with all of the great places that are offered in Orange County.
