JUNIOR PROJECT CALVES & YEARLINGS

4-H Club & FFA Members

To help our young breeders get started in good Brown Swiss cattle, the Iowa Brown Swiss Association will refund 5% of the purchase price to purchasers who are 4-H or FFA members when the following conditions are met:

1. The animal purchased is exhibited at the local fair and/or canton show.

2. The county extension director or other authorized person will certify to the secretary of the Iowa Brown Swiss Association that the animal has been exhibited at the shows; the secretary will then refund 5% of the purchase price.

3. Junior Projects will be born after March 1, 2022. The refund must be applied for by November 1 of the year of the sale.

4. Junior Project animals are Lot numbers 7 through 37 and Lot 46-1/2

The refund to qualifying Juniors is a long established policy of the Iowa Brown Swiss Association. Qualifying juniors from other states are also eligible.

All qualifying juniors will also receive a one-year membership in the Iowa Brown Swiss Association.
