Michigan Junior Holstein News

From Your President

As summer gets closer, the Michigan Junior Holstein board gets more excited about what this summer has to offer all of Michigan’s junior members. From attending National Holstein Convention, to seeing members at the Michigan summer show we are eager to connect with the youth in our state and network with juniors around the nation.

Before we dive into summer, let us not forget the exciting times we had this spring. Juniors found themselves in the show ring, for some, for the first time in over a year! At this time, we also welcomed Mill Wheel Show Clinics who hosted a fantastic showmanship and fitting clinic, we hope to see Katie back in Michigan again!

The 2021 National Holstein Convention is one event that MJHA is always looking forward to. Knowing that this is an excellent opportunity to meet dairy industry leaders around the nation, this event also gives the youth in our state an experience that they will never forget. Good luck to those members attending and competing in contests this year!

The week of July 12th is one to look forward to as the summer show will be held at this time. We hope to see many of you there! For updates about our annual meeting and dairy fun day, please like and follow our Facebook page, as we continue our planning process.

Thank you for your time,

Anna Moser

President MJHA
