SIRE OF LOT

The

Sale

HUTCHINSON MINNESOTA Saturday APRIL 16, 2022

Welcome to The Raylore Sale!

We are excited to share this catalog with you and welcome you to Hutchinson on April 16. Inside you will find our best and select consignments from top Holstein breeders in our area and across the U.S.

The Raylore lots represent our approach to breeding Registered Holsteins — something we’ve been committed to for more than 75 years. The pedigrees are deep, consistent and predominantly homebred. Over the years, we’ve also carefully invested in genetics from top-end breeders to further our herd. These purchases have complimented our homebred families and make up the herd today.

In 2021, Raylore Farm reached its highest BAA to date — 112! Our humble Minnesota nature tells us not to brag, but we are incredibly proud! We believe a BAA is more than a number. It reflects the efforts of three generations of our family and countless memories. It also signals the perfect time for us to open our herd to you like never before.

Thank you to the consignors who are offering outstanding individuals as part of the sale. We appreciate your friendship and trust in us to sell some of your best. Also, thank you to the frontline crew at the farm, who we consider part of our family. This sale would not be possible without you! Thank you to the sponsors and vendors we do business with each day — we appreciate your support today and along the way.

And endless gratitude to our four children — Sarah, Luke, Lana and Elizabeth — who we are more proud of than the cows! Luke is an especially vital part of day-to-day farm operations while continuing a successful career in animal health. We love that we’ve successfully “transmitted” ample passion for breeding and exhibiting cows to our children and look forward to supporting their future success any way we can.

Now a proud Grandpa and Grandma of five and counting (#6 arriving in July!), we hope this herd reduction gives us the time to slow down. We’re looking forward to spending more time together, traveling to Vermont and New Ulm more often and attending ample events with our grandchildren.

Raylore Farm will continue to breed and exhibit Registered Holsteins while prioritizing honesty, integrity, and keeping family at the center of everything we do. We thank God for our family, cows, and the many friends we’ve made in this business. Please let us know if we can answer any questions about our offering. We are excited to watch these individuals develop and succeed in your herds!

Here’s to completing one chapter and being ready for the next to be written,
