The Division DL Dear Key Clubbers, Kiwanians, advisors, and all, The school year is in full swing (and Club meetings along with it). It seems like everyone is in a rush to get it over with, but I urge you to enjoy every minute of the year and to try and find as many opportunities as you possibly can to make a difference in someone else’s life. There are going to be lots of great service opportunities this month and next so please join our divisional Facebook page (Key Club Division 74) so that you can stay informed about everything that’s going on in our division. Something that I am very excited about this month is the chartering of a new Key Club at South Eugene High School! The process should be completed before the end of the month so we can finally welcome SEHS into our divisional family! Finally, I want to let everyone know that I am about to start doing my second round of club visits, so think about any questions you may have for me. Good luck on your first few meetings and projects. I’ll see you all very soon! In Love and Service, Daisy Marshall; LtG

The District DL Dear PNW Key Clubbers, I hope everyone has had a great start of the school year, and you know what the start of the school year means... Your club’s first Key Club Meeting! Key Club is in full bloom, and I can’t wait to see what your clubs are doing for service and fundraisers! Remember, if you show how passionate you are for Key Club others will be inspired to join. Be proud to be a Key Clubber and remember to exemplify leadership and character, while always being inclusive and caring to those around you. Meeting all of you at the rallies was so inspiring; you are all constantly dedicating your time and love to the communities across the Pacific Northwest. I love how you represent key club with your pride and spirit while showing the dedication and compassion you hold for others. As always, remember the district board is here for the members and clubs. Please feel free to contact us at any time with your questions or concerns. I hope to see y’all at DCON 2015! Lisa Antonio

The Eliminate Project

The campaign has already raised more than 53 million dollars and has eliminated MNT from 34 countries! The goal that UNICEF and Kiwanis have set is to raise $100 million by the completion of the project in 2015. If that goal is reached, it would be enough to successfully eliminate Maternal and Neonatal tetanus from the planet entirely. We can’t do it without you! The Chipmunk Tribune Volume 2 Issue 5
