Volume 13 Number 01 2013: PAY IT FORWARD

JANUARY 2013 HIGHLIGHTS

Behind The BADGE DALLAS COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT FROM THE SHERIFF As the final touches for the first Bridge to the Communities: Recognition Banquet are put in order, I’d like to challenge each departmental section/division to show off your artistic talents. This formal event, which is designed to recognize the hard work of so many of your peers, promises to be epic. Expect the unusual. The challenge? Round up some of your most talented co-workers and video record a three to four minute skit, dance, commercial-type script to air during the awards ceremony. In turn, the executive staff and I will start practicing our own little number. But hurry! Don’t waste time. March 15th is right around the corner and we only have about 8 video slots for you to sign up and show us what you’ve got. Register your team with Chief Wilson. Good luck! —Sheriff Lupe Valdez
