USEFUL INFORMATION
WENCIA quartz watches benefit from the incomparable precision of quartz. Their power reserve usually enables them to operate for more than 2 years in continuous use. All you have to do is to set the time, and occasionally also the date if your watch is equipped with a display of this kind (please refer to the section of «Settings»). E.O.L. (End of Life) function Once it has been used up, the battery should be replaced without delay. If the seconds hand jumps every 4 seconds, this indicates that the battery has reached the end of its useful life and should be replaced in the very near future. 6
CARE & MAINTENANCE
WENCIA jewelry watches should be worn and used with care. We would advise you to clean your watch regularly (except for the leather strap) using WENCIA silver polishing cloth. Do not leave it anywhere where it might be subjected to major variations in temperature or humidity, in direct sunlight or near strong magnetic fields. After immersion in water, it is highly recommended to bring your watch to authorized WENCIA dealer for control. If you plan not to wear your watch for several weeks or months, we would advise you to pull out the crown. This will stop the watch. Doing so, it will substantially reduce power consumption of your Renata Swiss battery.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
We recommend that you contact an approved WENCIA representative or dealer, as they are equipped with the tools required to carry out the work and the necessary checks in a professional manner. A worn-out battery should be replaced immediately in order to reduce the risk of leakage and consequent damage to the movement.
