Vibrating rubbers appear to be ok and it would look as if some have been replaced recently. generAL: This is a good Sakai roller with a good cab for protection for the operator. The only major area of work needed would be around the paint blistering areas around both doors and cab.

going on the conveyor belt to the rear hopper. The conveyor belt is approximately 12m long x 700 wide and in reasonably good condition. Vendor advises that this system is still in working condition. The soil goes up the conveyor belt and drops on to a screening pad which sifts out further rocks and unwanted debris. The finer top soil then fills the hopper below. The hydraulic ram that lifts the rear hopper has leaking seal. Hydraulic motor on the rear screening area has leaks around the pipes. mechAnIcAL: This unit is run by an air cooled 3 cylinder Duetz. The engine was not run. There is some slight oil dampness around the two rocker covers on the Duetz engine and some hydraulic fluid leaks around the pumping area at the rear of the engine. The lifting ram for the conveyor belt on the RH side has a slight oil leak around the seal. FUnctIonAL eQUIpment: The rams around the rock breaker area still look functional. The rock breaking flails are still serviceable. This unit comes complete with a Ranger 12/6 stock piler. Functional equipment on the stockpiler is poor. Some rollers are still working but others are seized. This unit has a tow hook on it and is towed by a 6 wheeler truck. generAL: This complete unit is in a fair condition. The paint job on the cab exterior has faded considerably but is still notable as the Terex green. Engine cowling and cover is missing. FUnctIonAL eQUIpment: The Vendor advises that there are new chains on the elevator. Elevator blades look in reasonably good condition. Hydraulic lift rams for the bowl are leaking around the seals on both sides. The steering mechanism and centre pivot would appear to have been greased at some stage but uncertain of wear and tear on hydraulic ram eyelets and the saw pins. The bowl dumping mechanism is a fraction open and still has some product in the bowl - unsure as to whether the sliding mechanism still moves. The bowl exterior is in reasonable condition with the normal amount of paint removed and the odd ding on the bowl. The Vendor advises that there is no wiring loom in the scraper but a loom will be fitted prior to sale. Because of the lack of electrics - unable to start the Detroit. There is some surface rust on the engine but appears to be oil leaks around the power steering compressor and around the differential and rear of the gearbox. generAL: Not a bad 11 cubic meter bowl elevator Terex scraper. The front engine grille has a number of dents and one

decent crunch at the top corner. Paintwork presentable but a little faded with usual work related wear. FUnctIonAL eQUIpment: This unit is a purpose built Feller / Buncher and is designed for harvesting trees on various gradients. The cab and machine deck sit 700mm above the top of the tracks with a central long-ways pivot mounted on a scissor mechanism so that the upper part of the machine can be maintained in a level operating position irrespective of what gradient the tracks may be sitting on. This levelling adjustment is usually operated manually however the Vendor thinks there is an automatic setting so that the cab and machine deck are able to maintain their level position automatically. The angle that the machine can cope with while maintaining a level machine deck are: Forward 27 degrees (51% slope). Rearwards 10 degress (18% slope). Side to side 20 degrees (36% slope). The machine has a boom and dipper assembly in a similar arrangement to an excavator except there is only one boom ram and a longer than usual dipper arm. The superstructure on the boom and dipper looks in excellent condition. Pins and bushes well greased and hydraulic rams clean and dry. Not tested for wear on the pins however there is no obvious defects visible. The harvester head is a Waratah 620. The superstructure on the harvester head looks in good condition with no major flaws to report. It has obviously given a few years service but is currently in day to day use. Moderate to heavy wear (5mm of play) in the feed roller arm pivots and ram eyelets. Excessive wear (20mm of play) in the tierod eyelets that run between the knife arms. The cutting edge on the inside top knife needs a small weld repair and the lug where the knife cap is hinged has broken off and also needs repair. There is a fair bit of hydraulic oil around the Waratah head which looks to be coming from the feed roller arm ram eyelets. mechAnIcAL: Engine work dirty but no obvious leaks apart from some dampness around the sump joint. Cold started instantly and ran smoothly with clean emission both hot and cold. The floor panel below the engine and the entire machine deck is wet with oil which looks to be coming from a number of hydraulic hose joint leaks around the valve area and one notable leak on the supply line to the main hydraulic pump. The small electric / hydraulic pump to raise and lower the engine door is also leaking oil badly. The Vendor advises that the central hydraulic swivel (rotary manifold) was reconditioned approximately 300 machine hours ago with $10,000 being spent. The Vendor also understands that the main hydraulic pump was reconditioned just before he acquired the machine approximately 1500 working hours ago. generAL: A fairly well used machine that is currently in day to day work. Would benefit greatly if some of the leaks from hydraulic hose connections etc were attended to. Engine runs nicely. No rust to report. FUnctIonAL eQUIpment: There is a standard logging arch and grapple at the rear of the machine and a Hofkin W428-2D Winch (no warp). The superstructure of the logging arch is in reasonable repair with the usual dents on the underside where it has been hit by the swinging grapple. The grapple has no rotator. FUnctIonAL eQUIpment: The V twin petrol engine is direct coupled to a master hydraulic pump and also has a twin belt Vee pulley to drive the vacuum pump via a layshaft. The hydraulic pump powers a small hydraulic motor on the rear axle and a further hydraulic motor to drive the winch at the front of the machine. Within the area covered by the cabinet, a vacuum tank is mounted at the front with a hydraulic oil reservoir, water filter tank in the centre and the motor and vacuum pump towards the rear. The machine is used to pull cables into underground conduit. Firstly a parachute plug is drawn through the conduit by vacuum and this has a pilot cord attached which can then be pulled by the fleeting wheel on the winch to drag through a rope followed by whatever cables are being placed. The winch has a quick detach aluminum fleeting drum and a standard capstan drum also. The whole machine is self-propelled for positing on the job with a tricycle steering front axle. mechAnIcAL: The engine is work dirty but no notable leaks. Cold started instantly and ran smoothly with clean emission. The vacuum pump and winch operated as expected on a brief test. The Vendor advises that the electrics on the engine are not charging so the battery goes flat over a period of time but otherwise the machine is in top working condition. generAL: This is a tidy cable pulling device that comes complete with its own purpose built tilt-deck transporter trailer. The trailer is completely galvanized and the deck measures 1870mm wide (inside) by 3400mm long.
