I am looking at the woman. She is reading, engrossed in her book. The dip of her shoulder cuts across the ocean behind her. All is visible. I am with her, but also elsewhere. When I look at a photograph my body experiences a paradox—I see the world, but feel a thought.
“The thought you are having isn’t real. It is just a thought. Notice the thought but come back to the present and into your body.”
