AMONG THE ANIMALS

Animal lovers will be delighted to know that 2022 sees the introduction of another group of onsite lodges at West Midland Safari Park. Launched in April, eight two-storey lodges are now ready to welcome guests and are integrated into the white rhino and giraffe habitats, giving guests a truly unforgettable and immersive experience.

The white rhino lodges sleep up to six and are the only experience of their kind in the UK. The ground floor has an open-plan living space, chill-out nest that doubles as a cosy bed, and a balcony with ground-level views of the rhinos. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on the first floor, along with a balcony. In the giraffe lodges, guests can come eyeto-eye with the Park’s charismatic tower of eight giraffes from the balcony on the first floor, which is where the living room, kitchenette and dining room are situated. Two bedrooms downstairs sleep five people, with a bathroom. The introduction of the new lodges has enabled the Park to update and improve the animals’ habitats.
