PROGRAM 2012 2013 2014
PERFORMANCE PROGRAM The Dancehouse program is underpinned by a tripartite framework – performance, research/training and artist development. This framework resonates strongly with Dancehouse’s founding vision: to support independent Victorian and Australian dance artists by meeting their rehearsal, development and performance needs and by providing them with a focal point for exchange and engagement with visiting national and international artists. It also provides a strong foundation that is now allowing us to re-imagine our relationship with artists, audiences and networks, and to bring renewed focus to an enhanced relationship with the artist (creative engagement, intellectual stimulation and practical support ), an increase in artist mobility and an inspired approach to audience development.
