The Lynchburg Museum at the Old Court House, tells the stories of Central Virginia that include Monocan Indians, James River navigation, art, architecture, antique toys, historic photographs, and much more. Located in the historic 1855 court house, there are three floors of exhibits and media programs. From July to November 2012 and January to May 2013, the Museum hosts American Turning Point: The Civil War in Virginia.
