Consider placing the subject of your picture a little off-center. Auto-focus features center in, and lock on the subject automatically that is in the camera’s view. Use manual focus instead, and lock your focus before snapping the picture. The first step to creating stunning photographs is to find the correct subject. Without a good subject, even the best equipment and most developed skills will fail to produce striking photograph. You should carefully look for things that you find inspiring or ask a model to do some posing for you. Experiment with different perspectives and scales in your images. A simple object can be made artistic if it is portrayed in a setting that makes it look much bigger or smaller than it is, or places it in an original and funny situation. When you have the perfect shot in view and you are ready to push the Shutter, make sure that you hold your breath and do not move an inch. Even if you move the camera a little, it can ruin the photo. Take a spare second, right before hitting the shutter button, to hold your breath and get a straight shot. In most instances, the subject’s eyes are looking right at the camera. A unique effect occurs in a picture when the subject looks away from the camera’s field of view. Also, you can try having them focus on something that is in the frame, but still not looking at the camera. If you want to experience old-fashioned film photography, try going to a second-hand store to find a film camera. To get an especially nostalgic look, try black and white film. A good choice is film with a 200 ISO rating. When you have the film developed, have it printed on some different kinds of papers.
