HINATUAN ADVENTURE PARK

Adventure Park in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur

Hinatuan Adventure Park is an inland resort located in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines. Hinatuan is known by their famous Enchanted River or also known as Hinatuan Sacred River, it is a deep spring river. It flows into the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean at Barangay Talisay, Hinatuan.

The owner of the resort assigned me to create their logo, brand visual, and social media. The color the logo was inspired from the color of the river, turqouise / teal.

The resort has tracks for ATV, and in between those tracks there are mahogany trees. Same with the logo, the lines serve as the ATV tracks. And, the lines that formed a tree is the mahogany, while the waving lines below is to signify ocean breeze of the park.

SAMAL50

Yearly trail running event, 2016-2019

SAMAL50 started as IGACOS50. IGACOS means Island Garden City of Samal, and 50 means, 50 kilometer trail running distance. In 2017, we shortened it to make it easier to read and memorize - SAMAL50. Since that island is knowned as Samal Island.

The logo is inspired with to peaks that can be seen while the participants run towards the trail. The highest peak called Puting Bato. These two sharp points also can be seen in GPS as altitude graphs.. The color is inspired with caution tapes and universal street colors, yellow and black.

The event organizer asked me to create the logos, and later created their whole marketing materials from digital to prints. Including the medal, finisher’s shirt, and many more.

AGUILA OUTDOOR INDUSTRY

A rescue outdoor manufacturer, 2020

Aguila Outdoor Industry started as printing company, and later on it involves tailoring of life vests, bags, coveralls, and many more. It has services such as outdoor consultancy, rope access and technical services, corporate team building, recreational white water rafting, rope access technician, and swiftwater training.

I am an assistant product designer and marketing designer for the team. They asked me to design a logo, brand visual, product illustrations, social media, and marketing collaterals. The registered logo was with eagle. It was designed as a triangle because it represents as a home or mountain, and eagle as the symbolism of our city - eagle. And, the wave, and circle below represents the sea and sun. The whole idea of the logo is sea to summit apparels. And I created the logo type as acronym of Aguila Outdoor Industry for easier readability, and it has contour lines shows the accent of the brand. The color inspiration is the universal color of rescue.
