Dania Hussain - How to Pack Your Luggage for A Flight Why does it always seem like packing is more of a hassle than it needs to be? Sure, packing can be a laborious chore in and of itself, but a lot of packing anxiety arises from the fear of not knowing what you'll need when you arrive at your destination. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to miraculously pack only what we'll need—no more, no less—while still keeping everything wrinkle-free. I'm Dania Hussain, and today I'm going to share some helpful packing tips for quickly packing your suitcase and keeping your clothes in good shape while traveling.

The Best Ways to Pack Your Clothes: Think Big, Then Edit: Gather all of the clothes you'll need, then return half of them. Pack more tops than bottoms and items in the same color family. You'll probably need five shirts, two pairs of trousers or jeans, and one skirt for a fiveday trip. Two pairs of trousers, three sweaters, two dresses, and five shirts fit into the average 22-inch carry-on bag.

Place a bag between each layer of clothing for a simple update. Simply pull the bag's ends up on either side to easily access a specific layer.

How to Pack Shoes: Consider your holy trinity to be one casual sandal or loafer, sneakers, and an evening shoe. Shoes take up the most space due to their forms and heels. Wear the heaviest, bulkiest pair while packing the remaining two. Have Your Shoes Do Some Work: Stuff your shoes with other goods like socks, sunglasses, and devices chargers, depending on how clean they are. This will save you a little space here and there. Place Shoes In to One-Gallon-Size Resalable Bags: Then place them along the bag's sides. This will prevent dirt and germs from going onto your clean garments from your shoes.
