Client Profile
Concept Statement
My client David Long,is the owner of THE POTATO HEAD manufacture, this manufacture grew up with the neighborhood. They are bringing the best potato any one can taste, all the way from southern Peru where potato were first discovered.
Disco Ball was one of the strongest elements in the 70’s. I choose to create a space ,that will make people feel excited, happy and fun. With it’s curves and reflections I will create 3 dimensional shiny explosion of light ,that will make people be mysterious especially when it’s dark, Dancing over the rainbow of the reflection is what people will want to do. The simple depth of the design will make a big complected influence.
The Potato Head manufacture supplies over 15 kinds of potato. It all started in 1968 a San Franciscan guy tried Baked sweet potato in Peru. He decided to open a potato manufacture in San Francisco Bringing the potato all the way form Peru. Now, He wants a contemporary Retail, Manufacturing , Demonstration kitchen and a Dine-in space for people to enjoy the taste they won’t forget. The client wants a space for at least 10 Employees working in Manufacture and 4 in the demonstration kitchen.
Client Program My client is the owner of The Fun Fries manufacturing facility. They supply 16 kinds of potato from southern Peru . they will be working 5 days a week from 7 AM to 9 PM.
Brand Personality Fun , Happy , Simple but yet sophisticated . “ We all know Potato as a fast food, but I want to take the potato especially French Fries to the next high level” The Founder of The Potato Head

Introducing Sustainable Design Solution to a Primary Care Facility
This project name is Kiwi because it represents a universal concept in the promotion of health. Thus, it is adapting sustainable design aspects from all over the world. The purpose of this study is to find and apply sustainable design aspects into a primary care facility. Design solutions were collected from research regarding natural architecture, sustainability and biomimicry. Some challenges were addressed in the location (Lubbock, TX) through a climate study such as sun angle, wind direction, humidity, short rainfall period, dust and noise. Using shark skin as a self-disinfecting material to highlight biomimicry in order to reduce bacterial infection in the facility. Warka water tower is another solution to collect the humidity from the air and save water. Thus, the humidity and short rainfall period challenges were improved. Shading system and solar panels were applied to the facility to prevent direct sun light inside the building, reducing heat and saving energy. The shading system is used to reduce heat while solar panels are used to producing energy using sun peek. In light of sustainable aspects, a green wall was added to absorb dust and reduce noise acting as an acoustic system and preventing the dust’s spread pollution inside the building.
The concept was to use a universal name. One word which is common across languages is the name of the fruit kiwi. All cultures use the word kiwi to name the fruit. It is.the perfect name to reflect the concept of cultural interaction space and organic elements.
SWOT Analysis Strength -Adaptable plants. -Nature surrounding -Wind direction -Residential area
Weakness - Low Commercial activity - Walking traffic - Low density use - Dust
Constraints - Shot rainfall period - Dust - Low water resources

Hospital Design Solutions to Reduce Stress levels Among Surgical Residents
Surgical residents experience high-stress levels due to their long working hours, sleep deprivation and the absence of a proper oncall room. The lack of space for beds and personal areas are causes for sleep deprivation among surgical residents. Moreover, the lack of quietness and privacy are other causes of sleep deprivation.
Design Solutions based on Theoretical Framework
The purpose of this project is to introduce environmental design solutions that will reduce stress levels.Based on a theoretical framework and design criteria, hospital design solutions will be proposed in surgical residents’ on-call suite in Al-Thagher Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Design Solutions based on Design Criteria
Based on the repair and restoration theory of sleep and proxemics theory, sleeping stations would a good solution to solve the sleep deprivation that surgical residents face. The stations' design is inspired by first-class airplane seats. The station will have personal controls (lighting, acoustics, and space). Moreover, adding nature paintings and an artificial sky with nature scenes are design solutions based on attention restoration theory and stress recovery theory.

Since Earth was created, flowers were the definition of beauty. It’s a traditional element that is never old to use. It’s the natural and sustainable element to refine a space as a beauty icon. The shape of each petal has a different story. Stories about hope and peace.
AWS was found in 1988 to address the needs of women, children and trans-gender survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking ,especially those who are immigrants and refugees. The survivors witness the true meaning of courage, hope and determination. They inspire our unrelenting commitment to end violence in our families, communities and our world.
